La noche de Navidad del 2005, enfrente del Big Ben - Christmas 2005 at the Big Ben

Esta es la última foto que incluiré de los 3 meses que viví en Inglaterra. Es una foto no muy buena, pero especial porque fue en ese momento en el que celebré la Navidad por primera vez lejos de mi casa y de mi familia. El reloj marca las 00:05 horas del 25 de diciembre. - This is the last picture that I am going to post from the three months I lived in England. It’s not a very good picture, but it has an special meaning because it was there where I celebrated Christmas for the first being away from my house and family. The clock is telling the 00:05 hours of December 25th.

Esta serie de fotos muestra cómo este árbol a la salida del edificio de Computer Science va perdiendo sus hojas y su color conforme pasa el frío otoño de Inglaterra. - This series of pictures shows how this tree outside the Computer Science building loses its leaves and its colour in the cold autumn of England.

Big Ben y London Eye en movimiento - Big Ben & London Eye in movement

La foto no sale muy clara, pero me gusta la idea que transmite de una ciudad que está en constante movimiento. Se pueden observar los típicos buses rojos… por cierto, ese punto blanco es la luna . The picture is not very clear, but I like it because it transmits the feeling of a city that it is always in movement. You can observe the typical red buses… btw, that white spot it’s the moon .

La ciudad de Londres al atardecer - The city of London at sunset

La bella ciudad de Londres, esta foto fue tomada desde la cúpula de la Catedral de San Pablo (ver foto de ayer). Se puede observar una de las “torres” de la catedral, el río Thames, el London Eye y el Parlamento. - The beautiful city of London, this picture was taken from the top of the dome of St. Paul’s Cathedral (look yesterday’s picture). You can observe one of the top “towers” of the cathedral, the Thames river, the London Eye and the House of Parliament.

Catedral de San Pablo en la ciudad de Londres - St. Paul’s Cathedral in London

Es la segunda cúpula más grande del mundo después de la catedral de San Pedro en el Vaticano, es realmente impresionante. Esta foto es tomada desde el Millennium Bridge sobre el rio Thames. - It’s the second biggest dome in the world after St. Peter’s in the Vatican city, it’s really impressive. This picture is taken from the Millennium Bridge over the Thames river.

Colores de otoño vs Colores de Invierno - Autumn colours vs Winter colours

Estas son dos fotos del mismo lugar tomadas en menos de 3 semanas de diferencia, siendo la segunda aún en otoño pero en un principio de invierno gris, con una gran diferencia de colores, no? - This are two pictures taken from the same place in a time less than 3 weeks, still in autumn in the second one but in the beginning of a “gray” winter… that’s a big difference of colors, right?

Estaba trabajando tomando un café cuando vi ese atardecer, y (como siempre) llevaba mi cámara, aproveché - I was working and drinking a coffee when I saw that sunset, and since I had the camera with me (as always), I didn’t miss the chance.

La Trafalgar Square (plaza) en el centro de Londres, allí mismo se encuentra la National Gallery y el Big Ben se vé al fondo (a ver si lo encuentran ) - The Trafalgar Square in the centre of London, the same place where the National Gallery is, and you can see the Big Ben

No conozco como se llama el efecto, pero lo usé en esta foto de tal manera que se mira un poco oscuro, pero el reflejo del sol (atrás de la columna de Nelson) se mira bastante bonito - I don’t know the name of the effect, but I use it in this picture so it looks a little bit dark, but the reflection of the sun (behind the Nelson’s column) looks pretty nice.
